CHIC 2012 is a premier youth event that you won’t want to miss. It is July 14-21, 2012 held at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. This event draws over 5,000 people who want to have fun, participate with some great bands and hear from some outstanding speakers. Go to http://www.chic20112.org to find out more. COST:
Registration for CHIC 2012 is $545 for the early bird pricing (paid by Jan. 31) This covers all activities on the campus at UT and food served there (3 meals per day). Off campus excursions are extra.
Transportation for CHIC 2012 is $300. This includes a coach bus leaving from the church, white water rafting the day that CHIC ends, a stay in a church in Cincinnati, OH the night after CHIC (July 20), and a day at King’s Island amusement park. Buses leave the afternoon of July 14 and return after midnight on July 21 (technically July 22). The total for CHIC 2012 is $845 per person.
FUNDING:
We hope that no one will stay home from CHIC because of money. There is help available for anyone!! To help cover the cost, you may participate in fund-raisers with other families that are interested in raising money. Some successful fund-raisers in the past have been Sunday brunches, CHIC banquets, some garage sales, silent auctions… The Youth Ministry Team will provide some structure to the fund-raising, but the work will be carried out by the families who will be participating. There is also a CHIC scholarship fund available to help with additional help beyond fund-raising. Please fill out the form below as completely as possible if you are in need of financial assistance. You may also help someone else get to CHIC by contributing more than the cost of CHIC.
