Plane leaves at 6:00 and 40 participants will be on their way to Bamboo, Jamaica.
Follow the progress on our facebook page and “like it” while you’re at it.

Hey Hi League-

5th Quarter – 9:00 pm – Ultimate Frizbee at Church – Fun, fun, fun. TONIGHT!!

Don’t forget the Jamaica Meeting this Sunday at 9:45am. for Parents and participants. Come hear about financial deadlines and fund-raising. You can also get your consent to travel form notarized. http://hileague.com/consenttotravel.pdf

And come to Hi League next Tuesday and serve at Mission for All Nations at 5:30pm and HL at 6:30pm. Stay connected! Tuesday will feature a jazz concert at Bennington (be at church at 6:30) and MFAN…You’ll have to pick one.

Next Saturday, March 26 at 11am-2pm come give folks a taste of the 1950’s at Hyvee at 50th and Center. Pump gas “full service” style for tips. All proceeds will go toward the Jamaica mission trip.

For Juniors and Seniors…COLLEGE PREP SEMINAR at Westside church. 2-6pm. The cost is free + $10 for a notebook. Learn about how to keep your faith healthy in college. Get more info at http://www.collegeprep.org

Come check out Youth Worship Night at Community Covenant (15770 Q St) this Sunday (March 13) at 6:00 PM. Join with other youth groups in a night of worship. Get encouraged in your faith and connected to God.

Also this week, Friday, March 18th. Come to Common Ground in Elkhorn for 5th Quarter (1701 Veterans Drive, Elkhorn just north of the High School) to use their gym and game room. Basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, refreshments. Bring $4 to help with the cost. Bring friends and have a great time out west!

Powderburn students and leaders are back in town…what a week!(end)

The powderburn offering raised $1500 for 3 students to go to high school in Kenya!

* If you are planning to go on the Mission Trip (leaders too), make sure to fill out a Mission Trip Application and pick a time for your interview on February 13. Don’t delay, they are only two days away!

This Sunday at 10:00 Hi League Sunday School. Focus is on missions and how you can respond to the world around you and be part of God’s mission.

Tuesday, February 15^h 6:30 Hi League…meet in small groups, then discuss Wicca and Atheism…it’s the last in the series on other religions.

* If you signed up for POWDERBURN, make sure to fill out the registration form on the Hi League website and turn in the two release forms (FCC one and Winter Park one).

* Don’t forget about the Mission Brunch Fundraiser on Sunday. Sign up for jobs here.

* And speaking of food, find out what it is like to go without it for 30 hours by participating in the 30 Hour Famine on February 18-19…
